Manual rescuing of passengers trapped in a lift takes
considerable time, causing lot of anxiety to the
passengers. It may also result in injuries to passengers
if it is not done by trained personnel.
Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) is a modern advanced
electronic drive system, for rescuing passengers trapped
in a lift. To tackle power failure, buildings require
power Gensets which involve huge capital expenditure and
considerable maintenance cost.
Automatic Rescue Device (ARD)
comes into operation automatically under two conditions
– one, when there is a power failure and two, when there
is a system failure.
